Michael Zarling AP, Dipl.OM

 

Michael Zarling is a Board-Certified Acupuncture Physician and Herbalist with a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine. He also pursued additional studies at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Denver.

Michael is licensed in the State of Florida and is certified as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

Before pursuing Chinese Medicine, Michael served in the United States Army, retiring as a Sergeant First Class specializing in Reconnaissance. His military background shaped his disciplined, problem-solving approach to patient care and continues to fuel his passion for helping others heal physically and emotionally. His mission is to help patients restore balance, improve quality of life, and feel heard throughout the healing process.

Michael remains actively involved in the Veteran community and is committed to giving back to those who have served. Jupiter Acupuncture Clinic proudly offers a 20% discount to all veterans, active-duty military personnel, and first responders, including Police, Fire, and EMT professionals.

Michael lives in Jupiter with his wife, Dr. Kristel Gerow, and their three sons: Michael Jr., Alexander, and Damian.

Sarah Hopkins M.S.OM Dipl.OM

Sarah Hopkins is a NCBAHM Board Certified Acupuncture Physician and Herbalist. Sarah earned her Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Herbalism, and Bachelor’s degree in Health Science at the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She specializes in women’s health from menarche to menopause, and everything in between. Sarah is passionate about supporting women in all phases along their health and wellness journey.
 
Her passion for health began in 2020 when she had an autoimmune flare and chose to address her symptoms naturally with diet, stress reduction and other holistic modalities. Her first hand experience of witnessing the body’s ability to heal itself sparked her career change and led her down the path of discovering Traditional Chinese Medicine. She developed a deep admiration for the intelligence of the human body and its desire to live in harmony with nature and oneself.
 
In addition to her most recent studies, Sarah graduated from the University of Florida, with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations. She is a 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher who taught at both Kula Yoga Shala and Breath Salt Yoga. Born and raised in Jupiter, FL Sarah is excited and ready to serve her hometown and share her passion for deep, long-term healing.

Sarah will be joining Jupiter Acupuncture soon as our newest Associate Acupuncture Physician.
