STAT Program

The STAT program (Service Through Acupuncture Therapy) offered by Jupiter Acupuncture is a service offered free of charge to any and all First Responders. Our practitioner travels to the departments of Fire, Police, or hospital staff offering a community-based Acupuncture therapy session. The STAT program coordinates with the leadership of each first responder community to set up a treatment area at their place of employment.

The treatment will consist of the NADA protocol (Click her for more information on the NADA protocol) which is well renown for stress, immune function & promoting resiliency. The treatment will be performed in a group setting around your friends and colleagues due to the proven healing effects of this environment. No questions will be asked and the recipients will not have to share their experiences.

Often times when people think about programs for traumatic stress, quite often it is associated with military personnel returning from combat environments. Rarely are our first responders considered in this category. These brave men and women who day in and day out protect our streets, our communities, and respond to our 911 calls are also in need of our attention. The mission of this program is to achieve the main goal of Jupiter Acupuncture “To serve those that serve”.

Michael Zarling AP is a Retired Sergeant First Class from the Army. He started the path to becoming an Acupuncture Physician at a similar treatment environment while serving in the Army.

All treatments will follow the medical guidelines set forth by the Florida Dept. of Health and appropriate PPE will be worn by the practitioner.
